As one of the largest and most prestigious universities in the world, UCLA can feel overwhelming at times. However, being surrounded by resilient, kind, and supportive women makes it feel like a true home away from home. Each year, Sigma Alpha Zeta hosts a variety of sisterhood events designed to strengthen relationships and foster meaningful connections among our members. From intimate gatherings such as bonfire nights and self-care events to weekend retreats, our organization offers a welcoming space where every member feels valued and included. While we achieve great things together, our true strength lies in the individuality of each sister. The bonds formed within Sigma Alpha Zeta extend far beyond four years. They last a lifetime.

As members of Sigma Alpha Zeta, we value the opportunity to grow academically while supporting one another along the way. Sigma Alpha Zeta is committed to fostering academic excellence and provides a variety of workshops and resources designed to support women in achieving their educational goals. While academic expectations at UCLA are high, the guidance offered through our academic programs, leadership resources, and the support of our sisterhood makes success both attainable and sustainable.
Community Service
"Service is at the heart of our sisterhood"
Our sisters are deeply committed to giving back to the communities we serve. Through initiatives such as volunteering at the Los Angeles Food Bank, hosting toy drives, fundraising for our philanthropy, and supporting orphanages in Tijuana in collaboration with UCLA BruinHope, we actively engage in meaningful community service. To uphold this commitment, each sister is required to complete a minimum of ten community service hours per quarter.
