Sisterhood
Being one of the largest and most prestigious universities in the world may daunting but having some of the most resilient and sweetest women nearby makes UCLA feel like a home away from home. Every year, Sigma Alpha Zeta hosts several sisterhood events to continue to enhance the relationships and love among sisters. From small bonfire and self care nights to weekend retreats, our organization provides a space for everyone. Though we can accomplish more together as one, our true strength lies in the originality of every single one of our sisters! The bonds that have been created last more than just four years, they last a lifetime.

Academic Excellence
Learning is an everlasting experience! As a Sigma, the best part about it is having the opportunity to learn and achieve academic success together. Sigma Alpha Zeta encourages all members to excel academically and has many workshops designed to assist women in achieving their academic goals. Expectations are set high at UCLA, but the support provided by our programs, academic chair resources, and all of our sisters makes success attainable!
Community Service
Our sisters recognize the importance of giving back to our communities. From packing food at the local L.A. Food Bank, hosting toy drives, raising funds for our philanthropy and volunteering at orphanages in Tijuana in collaboration with UCLA Bruinhope, we love to get involved with our community! Every sister is required to complete a minimum of ten community service hours per quarter.
