Mission Statement
Sigma Alpha Zeta stands for women's empowerment through diversity, sisterhood, academic excellence, and community service. Our purpose is to enhance personal growth, create networks, strive for excellence, and support the upward mobility of women. Our goals are to maintain academic excellence, engage in campus activities, foster sisterhood, and provide community service. Our characteristics are commitment, open-mindedness, leadership, motivation, integrity, and involvement. We expect responsibility, initiative, time management, support, and productivity.

Badge: Gold badge which incorporates the Greek letters Sigma Alpha Zeta with three stones embedded underneath. The stones represent the three sorority colors as well as the three pillars: Sisterhood, Academic Excellence, and Community Service. As well as our red and white roses and our establishment date on the bottom.
